Welcome to Rainbow Park Elementary School, home of the “Trojans!” I am proud to be the Principal of an amazing community school nestled among residents who have supported the school for multiple generations.
As we embark upon a new academic year, it’s a perfect time to set our sights on the goals that will guide our journey towards excellence. Our goals for this school year include maximizing academic opportunities for students through new programming, supporting the social and emotional well-being of students, integrating technology, increasing parental and community involvement opportunities, and ensuring that all staff members are committed to providing the highest level of customer service for students and the community. Our school’s mission is centered around community, collaboration, and academic excellence. We exist to prepare your children for their future endeavors by creating opportunities for students to excel academically in an inclusive environment that supports the whole student.
Additionally, Rainbow Park Elementary School is home to the Expressive Arts Magnet Program serving students in grades PreK through 5th in the greater Miami Gardens and OpaLocka areas. Students receive training in dance, arts, drama, and music to broaden their horizons in preparation for middle and high school programs.
We are committed to continuously assessing and refining our strategies to meet these goals. By working together—students, parents, teachers, and administrators—we can create an enriching educational experience that prepares our students for a bright and successful future.
